On May 14, 2026, the annual meeting of the Council of the Wood Industry Cluster was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.

The session discussed the cluster’s business report for 2025 and the business plan for 2026. An amendment to the Statute was also adopted and Bernard Likar was confirmed as the cluster’s director from August 2026 for a term of 5 years.

On this occasion, the members of the Institute’s Council thanked the current director Igor Milavec for his 26 years of leadership of the cluster, which has become an important player in the Slovenian wood industry and a recognizable partner in the EU and beyond.
