On 6th and 7th June in Opatija, Croatia held the second meeting of the partnership on the project FORESDA. Partners align the first activities of the project on analysis of the innovative environment in the sector and agreed on the implementation of the following activities.

The project FORESDA connects 13 partners and take place within the Danube transnational program, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The main purpose of the project is to enhance the existing network of so-called support institutions in favor of strengthening the innovation and development of enterprises in the forest-wood sector so as to contribute directly to the achievement of the policy objectives of smart specialization in the partner countries.

Partnership Meeting was held by the 14th International Wood Technology Conference, which traditionally brings together businesses and institutions of the Croatian wood sector as well as the wider part of Southeast Europe.

In the framework of the meeting have partners to see greater production of sawn hardwood in the company Cedar in Vrboska.
