Wood Industry Cluster and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, in cooperation with the Public Agency SPIRIT Slovenia and the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology od RS, are between 22 and 24 May 2017 organized a business delegation of the Slovenian furniture companies in New York, USA.

Delegations attended by representatives of companies Alples, Murales, Donar, Lina Furniture, Noki and the CCIS and Wood Industry Cluster. Delegation’ brochure can be viewed HERE.

Members of delegations, supported by the Embassy in Washington and the US-Slovenian Business Club in Cleveland, met with several architectural and design offices and agents. In addition, the delegation also visited the fair ICFF, which is one of the most important fairs in the field of contemporary furniture in the US and attended the meeting with some of the most important representatives of Slovenian businessmen in the United States. The acquired information and the contacts constitute a very good basis for further development and growth of the export of the Slovenian furniture industry in the United States.

After the return of the delegation to Slovenia, they have been kindly invited by Ambassador Mr. Hartley, to meeting at the US Embassy in Ljubljana.
