On 13 and 14 March 2022, the fourth meeting of the partnership on the European project ALLVIEW Erasmus + was held virtually.

The aim of the ALLVIEW project is to modernize vocational education and training by bringing together partners from the European wood and furniture industry. The ALLIEW project brings together 22 partners from 8 EU countries.

At the meeting, the partners reviewed the implementation of current project activities and agreed on activities in the next period. The project has already produced the first results, which will be the basis for the development of new learning content for the wood and furniture sector in the EU.

The ALLVIEW project is designed with the long-term goal of establishing a transnational platform of education providers, the state and the economy to modernize the content of vocational education and training in the wood and furniture industry. The project promotes innovation and excellence in vocational education and training with the participation of local partners. We strive to provide high-quality professional skills, support entrepreneurial activities, spread innovation and act as centers of knowledge and innovation for companies.

Among other things, in-depth research on augmented, virtual and mixed reality technologies was conducted to determine which of these impressive technologies is more appropriate and useful for use in education and teaching, specifically in the furniture and wood sectors. A program for the exchange of students and teachers between individual European partners is also being prepared at an accelerated pace. 10 Slovenian woodworking companies also took part in the student exchange.
