Business delegation of woodworkers to Milan 2019
The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology – Directorate of Woodworking and the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship, Internationalization, Foreign Investment and Technology (SPIRIT) in cooperation with the Wood Industry Cluster and the Center for International Business at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, are 14. and on 15 April 2019, organized business delegation of woodworkers to Milan. The business delegation was held during the fair MADE EXPO Milano 2019 , which was also a good opportunity to get acquainted with trends in construction and building equipment.
Italy represents one of the largest and traditionally the most important export markets for Slovenian woodworking enterprises, since the industry exports more than 20% of its exports to this market. In order to effectively support Slovenian wood companies in strengthening exports to Italy, we organized business meetings with targeted Italian architects.
Outgoing business delegations attended the company; Riko Houses d.o.o., Jelovica Houses d.o.o., M Sora d.d., Alpod d.o.o. and LIP Bled d.o.o .. The business delegation was very successful, with more than 30 meetings realized with architects who were carefully selected and ready for further cooperation.
