On January 17, 2024, a kick-off meeting was held on the Erasmus+ FLIER project. The partnership of this two-year project includes six partners from Spain, Belgium, Italy, Ireland and Slovenia.

By providing a new curriculum for circular furniture designers and an associated online course, FLIER aims to support the furniture sector to respond appropriately to the challenges and opportunities presented by the circular transition and related legislation. FLIER will promote the sector’s transition to a greener industry by updating the current offer of vocational education and training in furniture design and better meet the lifelong learning offer of adults who are in high demand in the labor market.
