On 5th of June 2025, as part of the second day of mobility on the FLIER project, students visited Moroso company and gained valuable insight into the complexity of furniture design and production. They learned about the entire manufacturing process, from the first sketches and prototyping to the final product.

Special emphasis was placed on the precision of workmanship – experienced master craftsmen and tailors pay attention to every detail, from the quality of materials to the precision of stitching and finishing, which affect the aesthetics and durability of the products. The students learned the importance of innovation in design, as Moroso collaborates with renowned designers such as Ron Arad, Patricia Urquiola and Marcel Wanders. This allowed them to observe how contemporary design visions are realized in physical form. The company is also committed to responsible use of materials and adheres to strict environmental standards. This establishes Moroso as a company that combines traditional artisanal methods with modern technological innovations and a global market approach.

The visit to Moroso was not only a technical and design education, but also an inspiring experience that opened students’ eyes to the art of design, the creative process, and industrial and sustainable standards in the production of upholstered furniture.
