As part of the reBUILD project, a mobility event took place in late September in Madrid and Valencia, Spain, where participants from Ukraine, Romania, and Slovenia met with leading companies, architects, designers, and other stakeholders in the furniture ecosystem. The program included a visit to the Basque Living by HABIC showroom at the MATCOAM innovation center. MATCOAM (Materiales COAM) is a key hub for materials, innovation, and sustainable solutions in architecture and construction. The visit provided participants with insights into the latest materials, technological trends, and innovative practices shaping the future of sustainable construction and modern living.

September 30th was dedicated to exploring successful examples of Spanish interior design and furnishing. Participants visited the showrooms of Kendu, Blux, and Treku, gaining insight into their approaches to innovative product development, brand design, and international market presence. In the afternoon, the mobility program continued with a trip to Valencia.

The highlight of the mobility experience was a visit to the Feria Hábitat Valencia international trade fair, one of Europe’s leading events in the fields of furniture, interior design, and décor. Participants discovered the latest trends, established new business contacts, and explored opportunities for future international partnerships.

The final mobility activity is scheduled for November 2026, this time in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Please let us know if you are interested in participating.
