27. October 2025 we successfully held the last technical meeting of the FLIER project, which is approaching its conclusion. The partners reviewed key technical aspects of the implementation, exchanged final feedback and coordinated the last steps before the project’s closure.

The FLIER project has developed a new learning program for furniture designers in the circular economy, based on the principles of sustainable design and the circular economy. The goal is to strengthen vocational education and training in the furniture sector and support its transition to a greener and more environmentally friendly industry. The project has created an online course that will be available on an open e-learning platform. In addition, a pilot course, a hackathon and a mobility program were implemented, which provided participants with practical experience. The project responds to the growing demand for knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable design and contributes to reducing the environmental footprint of the sector.

The final reports and the preparation of the final results will follow in the coming weeks, which will soon be available to the general public.
