On 29 October 2014 in Slavonski Brod (CRO), was held 5th International Congress of Sawmill Industry of Southeast Europe under the title “What is the future saw?”. The event was well attended also this year. Congress was also attended by a delegation of Slovenian sawmill companies comprised together in the Section of sawmills at the CCIS – Wood Processing and Furniture Industry Association (WPFA). Igor Milavec, director of WPFA and Wood Industry Cluster on this occasion said that we are interested in new regional initiatives and we see many opportunities for more intensive cooperation.
