The pilot environments’ opening event, on 4th of February 2025 in Pécs, Hungary, organized by the  Cultural Creative Industry Cluster and University of Pécs, was a great success!

Over 70 participants, project and associated partners, companies and institutions from ten European countries of the Danube region, learned about the planned activities of the DRWO 4.0 project pilot environments.

Through pilot environments, a series of events will be held this year with presentations of good practices, exchange of experiences and training on the topic of circular economy, digitalization and innovative technologies and materials for the wood and furniture industry and stakeholders in the Danube region.

At the conclusion of the opening event, the participants also visited the very interesting company Pécs Organ Manufactory,  which produces organs, and toured the city of Pécs.

The next day, 5th of February 2025, the partners coordinated activities for this year at a project meeting, which will be very concrete!
