On 20th and 21st of November 2024, we attended the transnational workshop and partnership meeting DRWO 4.0 in Gradište, Croatia, hosted by CEKOM – Center for Competence and Research, which is also the project coordinator.

The first day was dedicated to a transnational workshop, which was organized to exchange knowledge and experience previously gained during the analysis of the situation in the participating countries regarding the level of maturity of the introduction of Industry 4.0, and to introduce some examples of good practice.

On the second day, the project partners reviewed the project implementation to date and agreed on the next steps, which include the preparation of an action plan and the establishment of pilot environments. Pilot environments (PE) are intended to support the transformation of the wood and furniture industry of the Danube Region in line with Industry 4.0. and connect key stakeholders from the wood and furniture industry.
