On September 12, 2023, a business delegation of wood and furniture companies under the coordination of Wood Industry Cluster Slovenia visited the Luxembourg wood cluster, as part of the visit of the Prime Minister of Slovenia to Luxembourg.

We saw two examples of surplus wood construction in Luxembourg (School campus “Am Stengert” in Betzdorf and Skypark at Luxembourg Airport) and attended a business forum at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

We got a lot of information about the Luxembourg market and new promising business contacts! We can’t wait to continue our cooperation with the Luxembourg Wood Cluster!

The event was organized by the public agency Spirit Slovenia, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, Directorate for Wood Industry. The co -organizers are the Wood industry cluster and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – the Association of the Wood and Furniture Industry.
