06.03.2017 in Ljubljana took place the first meeting of the partners on the project FORESDA “Forest-based cross-sectoral value chains Fostering Innovation and Competitiveness and the Danube region ‘(No .: DTP1-1-383-1.1), which takes place in the context of Danube transnational program.

The main objective of the project FORESDA is to support the transformation of traditional forest-based industries in sustainable production areas with innovative cross-sectoral and transnational approach:
• developing sectoral support networks and innovation projects,
• implementation of cross-sectoral pilot innovative environment as a physical and virtual space cooperation
• establishing the necessary support facilities in clusters, brokers, research organizations and their networking with policymakers.

The project partners coming from 9 countries. The project will last 30 months.
