Wood Industry Cluster, along with four other clusters of Slovenia (TECES, TECOS, Developer Hub toolmaking and construction cluster, Construction Cluster) and representatives of Slovenian ministries and government office for development and cohesion, within the framework of the European project BEWISER, attended a meeting with clusters from Catalonia and Agency for Clusters Development ACCIO. Representatives of the Catalan Agency presented their work of the ACCIO, which has been operating for more than 20 years and currently supports and directs the 30 Catalan clusters, which involve 1,770 enterprises, which generate 65 billion euros in annual turnover.

Representatives of Slovenian clusters were impressed by the consistent and well-managed system of the Catalan government to implement the policy of clusters and cluster management excellence, and will try to transfer this practice in Slovenia.
