Association of wood and furniture industry in the Chamber of Commerce, Wood Industry Cluster and Forestry Institute, 17 November 2014 at the Chamber of Commerce, Ljubljana, organized an open day for the sawmill companies; “The management of national forests and calculations of sawn timber”. We presented ID:WOOD netwok, the results of the project and planned activities after project completion. By side the other workshop materials, participants have also got the Final project’ brochure.

Open day

This was followed by the presentation of opportunities and threats variants of the future organization of the management of national forests and the Austrian experience in the calculations of sawn timber. Was also presented the project “Beech in the forest-wood chain” whose purpose is to investigate the adequacy of current qualitative and price evaluation beech wood along the value added chain.
